Suncoast Community Holiday Party

For Associates and Bruce L. Scheiner, ‘tis always the season to be involved in our SWFL community! The Firm has a long history of spreading holiday cheer where it’s most needed, and December 2014 was no exception. This year, staff from the Scheiners’ Community Outreach Project visited the Suncoast Estates Community Center (SECC) in North Fort Myers, which offers assistance and services to many low-income families in the area.

After bringing candy and taking some spooky Halloween pictures with the SECC kids in October, we were asked back to the center for Santa’s annual Christmas visit. Staff from our Community Outreach Project showed up on December 20^th, armed with candy canes and a camera, ready to capture all of the excitement, joy, and magic that every child deserves to experience at Christmastime. Every one of the children—many of whom are living difficult lives in disadvantaged families—received a candy cane from Mrs. Clause, a chance to sit on Santa’s lap, and a special Christmas present from the Big Guy himself! Two days later, we delivered all of our photos (nearly 200!) to the center so all those great kids and their families could relive the fun and hold on to the good memories forever.
