1.
What type of clients do Associates & Bruce L.
Scheiner represent?
Our firm
only represents people who have been injured due
to the negligence of other individuals or businesses.
We do not represent big insurance companies or big
businesses. Our clients are people just like you
- people who may be entitled to just compensation
for the harm they've suffered.
2.
How can I be sure my case will get the attention
it deserves?
At Associates
& Bruce L. Scheiner, we follow a highly effective
case management strategy we refer to as the "team"
approach. From the time a case file is first opened,
a number of different attorneys and experienced
paralegal assistants may work on a personal injury
lawsuit before it is concluded. This approach has
helped our firm grow into one of the most successful
personal injury law firms in Southwest Florida.
With that growth has come the resources necessary
to provide our clients with a vast array of professional
services and personal attention.
3.
Will I have any say in how my case is handled?
Yes!
We believe the client is the most important member
of our team and we stress the need to maintain a
close, working relationship with each one. We encourage
full and open communications with our clients and
rely on their input at every stage of a case.
4.
Will Associates & Bruce L. Scheiner be able
to help me even though I don't speak English?
Yes!
To accommodate the diversity of languages spoken
by residents and visitors alike, we view translators
as important members of the Associates & Bruce
L. Scheiner team and many of our employees are bilingual,
speaking Spanish, Creole/French,
German, French and other languages in addition to
English. We can also provide a variety of special
needs services such as sign interpreters for the
hearing impaired whenever necessary.
5.
How much does Associates & Bruce L. Scheiner
charge for the initial consultation?
There
is absolutely no charge for an initial consultation!
You can visit any one of our seven
office locations in South Florida during regular
business hours to discuss your case or you can call
us for a free phone consultation. Our on-call staff
is available to speak with prospective clients 24-hours
a day, seven days per week. We can even arrange
to visit a prospective client in their home or hospital
room if they are physically unable to come to our
office, again at no charge.
6.
If I decide to let Associate & Bruce L. Scheiner
handle my case, how much will I be charged?
Clients
who decide to retain the services our firm provides
pay no attorney fees or costs unless we obtain a
settlement on their behalf. There are no up-front
charges and no monthly legal bills. If we don't
bring your case to a successful conclusion, you
don't pay. It's as simple as that.
7.
I'm not sure I need an attorney. Can't I just accept
a lump-sum settlement if offered?
Deciding
if you should accept a lump-sum settlement and if
so, what amount you should accept, are complex questions
that could affect you the rest of your life. An
experienced Florida personal injury, medical malpractice
or product liability attorney will help you focus
on important issues that may need to be addressed,
including:
a) the seriousness of your specific injuries;
b) the extent you are permanently disabled;
c) your future lost income and;
e) the possibility that you may require future medical
treatment.
Remember:
By accepting a lump-sum settlement, you will be
forever releasing the plaintiff and his or her insurance
company from any future medical treatment related
to your accident or injury. At Associates &
Bruce L. Scheiner, we can't predict the future -
but we can help you prepare for it.
At
Associates & Bruce L. Scheiner, our entire staff
works hard to earn a client's confidence. We believe
each client deserves to be treated with the respect,
the attention and the caring he or she deserves.
In short, we treat every client like we would want
to be treated.
